The Deerslayer and Chingachgook German Der Wildtter und Chingachgook is the featurelength first part of the twopart 1920 German adventure film Lederstrumpf Leatherstocking, directed from Arthur Wellin and featuring Bla Lugosi. booty is based on the novel The Deerslayer by James Fenimore Cooper. The second part was The Last of the Mohicans Der Letzte der Mohikaner.
